ACC Hockey

 Senior Hockey- The senior hockey boys took on Whitefriars at Doncaster Hockey Club. The boys started well knowing Whitefriars are always a tough match up in hockey. The boys did well to finish with a 2-1 win against Whitefriars. Amongst the best were Diesel Williams, Benjamin Ford and Gus Roach. Well done boys.

Year 10 Hockey- The year 10 hockey boys took on De La Salle at St. Kevin’s Sporting Complex. The boys payed well knowing De La Salle are very strong at hockey in the ACC. The boys did well with the final scores being 4-1 for a victory. Amongst the best were Jaiden D’Rozario, Jack Allan and Nick Franklin. Well done boys.

 Year 9 Hockey- The year 9 hockey boys took on Parade at Waverley Hockey Centre. The boys started well with a early lead and finished even better to win the match 2-0. Amongst the best were Jared Fernandez, Mitch Langworthy and Michael Conforti. Well done boys.

 Year 8 Hockey- The year 8 hockey boys took on St. Mary’s at Waverley Hockey Centre. The boys played well and finished even better to win the match 2-0. Amongst the best were Luke Yankov, Shann Loganathan & Noah Montgomery. Well done boys.

 Year 7 Hockey- The year 7 hockey boys were excited to play their first game at the college in a new sport. The boys had a tough game playing at JC Mills Reserve, with St. Joseph’s always being strong. The final scores were 0-0. Amongst the best were Jesse Downes, Lucas Kousourakis & Nicolas Fiorello. Well done boys.

 

ACC Basketball

 Senior A & B Basketball- No Game (BYE)

 Year 10 A & B Basketball- The year 10 A & B’s team took on St. Bernard’s at St. Bernard’s College. The boys knew it was going to be a big bus trip for a even bigger task at St. Bernard’s College. The boys started well with the A’s winning 53 points to 48 points. Well done boys. Amongst the best were Ollie Mann, Wissam Malaeb and Spencer O’Shea. The B’s played next and didn’t get the in but tried hard all game. The final scores were 47 points to 31 points. Amongst the best were Thenuk Devendra, Snowy Evans and Alvin Lee.

Year 9 A & B Basketball- The year 9 A’s & B’s team took on Parade at Waverley Basketball. The A boys played their hearts out, didn’t get the win but was a terrific effort with the final scores being 31-28. The B boys played next, with giving plenty of effort but Parade too strong in the end to win the match 51-28. We don’t have any bests this week, we had too many to pick from!

 Year 8 A & B Basketball- The year 8 A’s & B’s team took on Simonds at Waverley Basketball. The A’s boys played first and won in style with the final scores being 55-38. Amongst the best were William Scalzi, Jiho Lee & Lucas Caia. The B’s boys played next and did well to continue the momentum with winning the match 44-18. Amongst the best were Bafel Wal, Noah Panjkovic & Brady Shipton. Well done boys.

Year 8 C & D Basketball- The year 8 C’s & D’s team took on Emmanuel at Waverley Basketball. The C’s played first and tried their hearts out but didn’t get the result they wanted with the final scores being 73-20 Emmanuel win. The D’s played next, the boys once again like the C’s tried hard and put in 100% effort but didn’t get the result intended with losing the match 45-9. Amongst the best in the C’s are Archie Lafrank, Alexander Diosi & Brady Shipton. Amongst the best in the D’s are John Miliotis, Gadwich Thiep & Cohen Slattery.

 Year 7 A & B Basketball- The year 7 A’s & B’s team took on St. Mary’s at Waverley Basketball Centre. The A’s played first and did really well to win 60-33. The B’s went on next and played extremely well with winning the match 59-8. Amongst the best for the A’s are Angus Chetwin, Curtis Middleton & Samarth Pedamale. Amongst the best in the B’s are Ben Woods, Emmett Baldwin & Zachary Kolivas. Well done to both teams.

 

 ACC Table Tennis

Senior Table Tennis- No Game (Forfeit- Salesian Win)

 Year 10 Table Tennis- The year 10 table tennis team took on Parade at Parade College. The boys knew Parade would be a hard match up, with Parade always being a strong school at table tennis. The final scores were Salesian 5 matches and 26 sets to Parade 10 matches and 49 sets for a Parade win. Amongst the best were Alex Karamanalis, Sachin James and Andrew Byun.

 Year 9 Table Tennis- The year 9 table tennis team took on Parade at Parade College. The boys hard a tough match but did very well in the end to win the match. The final scores were Salesian 13 matches and 62 sets to Parade 2 matches and 17 sets. Amongst the best were Tom Parks, Siddarth Vinod and Joel Ajani. Well done boys.

 Year 8 Table Tennis- The year 8 table tennis team took on Simonds at Salesian College Bosco Hall. The boys knew it was going to be a tough match, with last year always being close against Simonds College. The final scores were Salesian 6 matches and 31 sets to Simonds 9 matches and 44 sets. Amongst the best were Navik Rathnasinghe, Alden Nguyen & Daniel Mejalli.

Year 7 Table Tennis- The year 7 table tennis team took on St. Joseph’s FTG at St. Joseph’s FTG College. The boys played really well in their first game at the college in a new sport. The final scores were Salesian 13 matches and 61 sets to St. Joseph’s FTG 2 matches and 15 sets. Well done on your first win boys! Amongst the best were William Brooks-Gay, William McKensie & Ryan Pandey.
